Found this place by chance on the way to Furano. Was first attracted by the purple Lupinus flowers on the slope along the road. Its ice cream is very popular with the locals.

I think this is the best lavender farm in Furano though it is now very commercialised compared to my last visit in the 1990s. Must try its lavender ice-cream.
Kumagera restaurant near Furano Station
Cosy small log cottages built into the forest near the New Furano Prince Hotel selling handicrafts and knick-knacks. Good place to take a stroll before dinner. The light-ups in the late evening make the place even more cosy.
Room with a good view. Decent hotel that can accomodate all 4 pax in 1 room, although the toilet & bath is very cramp.
Dinner @ Masaya
A place that I'll go again for dinner in my next visit. Popular with foreign tourists.
