Found this by chance while walking back to hotel via underground walkway.
Can be seen from the room at Tokyu Stay Sapporo. This hotel is new & clean and conveniently located around shops although about 10 to 15 min walk from Sapporo JR station. Buffet breakfast was also good and the room has a washer/dryer which is a plus point. However, there are no room that can accomodate 4 pax so had to book 2 rooms. The nearest airport limousine bus stop is 5-10 min away. I think better to take the bus from the Odori Park bus stop which is for direct airport bus. I took the one from Hotel Resol Trinity Sapporo where you can buy your tickets before you board. However, the bus stopped at several locations in the city.
