This picturesque pond is a short walk away from the car park and has toilet facility.
Shirahige Falls (MC 796 182 602)
Awesome waterfall that looks like "white beard" - literal translation of Shirahige. A short drive from the Blue Pond and accessible easily from the car park.

Nice spot to catch the views of the extensive fields and mountain ranges

Awesome 360 deg views even with the clouds over the mountains. Car park fringe still has remnant snow. Toilet facility available - very new and clean.
Furano
Returned to Furano via Route 966 and then Route 291. Town Lavender Farm (Nakafurano Choei Lavender En, MC 349 246 815) and Saika no Sato (MC 349 244 358):

Restaurant only operates from mid-May to Sep of the year, and on the weekends from 11am to 3pm. Each course took about 1.5 hours and there were 2 options for the mains - either hayashi (hashed beef) rice or curry with rice. 3 different desserts were served.
